Storage of cardboard packaging
In order for the cardboard boxes to fulfill their function, they must be stored properly. Cardboard is an ecological product, but it is not resistant to moisture, temperature, tearing or mold. Bad storage of cartons will make them unusable.
Storage of cardboard boxes
The manufacturer of cardboard packaging has appropriate storage and transport conditions at its disposal. When ordering a larger batch of cardboard from him, which we will store and use systematically, we also have to ensure that it is well protected.
What to pay attention to?
The temperature of the storage room should be between 5 and 30 degrees Celsius. The temperature in the warehouse must be relatively constant, we cannot cause sudden heat surges or keep cardboard boxes near its source – like radiators. It is not advisable for cardboard packages to lie in the sun.
A dry surface is essential if we don’t want the cardboard to get wet. They behave like paper and absorb water. Therefore, it is safest to put them on a pallet or put a tarpaulin or other moisture-resistant material under them – as long as they are not placed directly on the floor.
Cardboard packaging should be protected against dust and dirt – especially if we use packaging machines. Dust disrupts their work.
Humidity is another important element. Too big and too small have a negative effect on cardboard. We recommend keeping the humidity in the range of 30-70%, and also ensuring that, as in the case of temperature, it is kept relatively constant, without sudden changes.
We can prevent cardboard packaging from deforming by putting heavier things on them – but let’s not overdo it with weight, because each carton has its own strength. Overloaded (or too many boxes on top of each other) can damage the material.
Securing cardboard packaging
Cardboard packages are secured with stretch foil, strapping tapes and very often with additional layers of cardboard. It is recommended that the packaging is not unpacked until we start to use it, and that the protection should not be thrown away until all the boxes have been removed for use.
When unpacking boxes, we often use sharp objects – such as scissors or knives – to remove the protection. Handle them carefully so as not to damage the cardboard.
Cardboard packaging is popular and environmentally friendly – but if we want to make full use of it, it is worth remembering the above rules. Thanks to this, none of them will be damaged and carefully packed orders will be delivered to customers.
Storage of documents in cardboard boxes
Storing documents is an extremely important and often a difficult activity. One or two binders are usually enough for these home-made ones. However, when we run a business, the number of documents grows alarmingly fast.
Let us also remember that just having them is not enough – they have to be properly arranged so that they are easy to find, and also keep their neatness and legibility for the next few years. After all, you never know when they will be needed.
That is why every company must have a good and efficient document segregation and storage system.
How to store documents?
One of the most popular and effective methods are cardboard boxes. The manufacturer’s offer includes archiving boxes that are adapted to A4 documents or binders. Since they are designed with archiving in mind, searching through documents is extremely simple and easy.
Of course, we can also use ordinary boxes with a flap for this purpose. However, their primary purpose is for transport, so they are not an ideal solution. We have to tape them over and it’s hard to see their contents. It is best to leave them for documentation that we rarely look at or one that will go to waste paper and we just need to pack it in something.
How to pack documents?
Documents cannot simply be thrown into boxes and taken to another room. If the system is to work, they must be properly segregated. Binders or paper clips are best for this as they can hold a specific type of document or a date range together.
What we use depends only on ourselves. Both solutions fit into cardboard boxes and work well in many companies. It is also good to sign these boxes, thanks to which we will shorten the time of searching later.
How to store boxes with documents?
Keep the documentation secured with boxes in a dry and clean place. Away from the source of moisture, water or fire. It should also not be kept in direct sunlight.
Cardboard is a thicker and more durable type of paper – in inappropriate conditions it does not provide protection for documents, and is destroyed together with its contents.
However, the undoubted advantage of cardboard boxes is their eco-friendliness and low price. Unlike plastic packaging, we can be sure that we do not litter the environment. We can also return documents together with cardboard boxes for waste paper, because they are a recycling product.
Advantages of cardboard packaging
Cardboard packaging is one of the most popular methods of packaging virtually any type of product – from food to technology. And no wonder. They are relatively cheap, ecological and protect their content effectively. They facilitate removals, stand on shelves in shops, and decorated are a good way to maintain order in the house, while being a decoration of the room.
The price of the cardboard packaging
The production and purchase of cardboard packaging is cheap – allowing entrepreneurs from all over the world to buy them in bulk. Wooden and plastic packaging, although undoubtedly more durable and resistant to external factors, are more expensive, more complicated in the production process, and even take up more space (cardboard packaging folds easily, which cannot be said about wooden crates). Consequently, a manufacturer of cardboard packaging can ship a large number of them on several pallets, and we do not need a separate warehouse to be able to contain them all.
Cardboard packaging is produced in a completely ecological manner. They are mainly made of recycled materials and, moreover, they can be recycled. This allows for the production of further, equally durable cardboard boxes. Comparing them with the recycling of plastic – which is not only more expensive, but ultimately produces a material of lower quality – cardboard packaging contributes to the protection of the environment.
When cardboard is thrown away, it decomposes quickly and without any harm to the environment.
Light and odorless
Cardboard packages are extremely light, so couriers can transport many packages every day. The use of wooden packaging in such a case would significantly increase the weight of each individual package, which at the same time would make their transport and delivery difficult.
At the same time, they are odorless, so they have no influence on the content inside. This is very important, especially in the case of transported food or fabrics, which easily absorb the surrounding smells.
Cardboard packaging can also help promote your business. It is easy to apply a characteristic color on them. And put a customer message inside, thanking you for purchasing from our company. The cartons can also be covered with a tape with the company’s logo or a characteristic sticker. Thanks to this, not only the customer will immediately know from whom he received the package, but also intermediaries will immediately recognize our company.
Cardboard packaging and ecology
Ecology is becoming more and more important in our lives. It turns out that many of the products we use every day that have revolutionized our lives are excessively harmful to our planet. Companies are looking for ecological solutions, and many of them are convinced that it is a tedious and difficult to solve problem. However, in most cases, the use of ecological packaging is not so complicated.
What are cardboard packaging made of?
Cardboard boxes are ecological already at the time of their production. They are made of cardboard – the most durable paper product. Cardboard is made of paper pulp, which is most often made of recycled paper, mixed with fabric and wood pulp.
Cardboard is nothing more than several such masses connected together. In this way, we can obtain cardboard boxes of various thicknesses and strengths. Among them, the most popular and durable is corrugated cardboard, from which cardboard boxes are made. The producer usually takes care of everything – from the production of cardboard to assembling the appropriate boxes for the customer.
Why is cardboard ecological?
The ecological aspect of cardboard is mainly due to the fact that it is obtained mainly from renewable raw materials. It does not require any additional deposits, which would have to be supplied separately. Contrary to plastic – which loses its durability and quality with each recycling process – cardboard is just as durable, no matter how many such processes have gone through.
As if that were not enough – the technology needed to produce cardboard does not pollute the environment. Its production is therefore safe for the environment and can be carried out on a mass scale.
Disposing of cardboard boxes
Cardboard packages should be taken to the collection of waste paper or thrown into specially designated containers. We can also take advantage of various types of campaigns – often children in schools collect waste paper.
Thanks to this, we will be sure that the cardboard will be recycled and used for the production of new boxes. Disposing of packaging in illegal landfills or mixed rubbish often excludes it from being reused, which makes many of it simply wasted.
The good news is that when thrown “in the wild”, cardboard boxes degrade quickly and
easily, without affecting the environment. However, as a result, the manufacturer of cardboard packaging loses a valuable raw material that it could use.
Cardboard packaging for the e-commerce industry
Already more than half of Polish internet users buy online. The e-commerce market in our country is booming. If they want to grow, owners of brick-and-mortar stores need to consider online sales sooner or later. As a manufacturer of cardboard packaging, we know it perfectly well.
From the consumer’s perspective, such a dynamic development of e-shops means a large selection and the possibility of finding really good price offers. For the owners of this type of business, it is a problem of high competition. How to attract new customers to your online store? Certainly, many entrepreneurs are wondering what else they can do to increase the number of transactions.
Ways to beat the competition
A good seller in the e-commerce industry cares about details. It is these seemingly unimportant elements that attract customers and make them stay with us for longer. Many online store owners believe that the most important factor in choosing one and not another store is price. True – it is still a deciding factor. But it is not the only one. It often happens that the customer is able to pay more if the package is delivered quickly or the online store is simply attractive to the eye, and the order form is simple and clear.
The shipping process is extremely important. After all, a good product or a fantastic price is not enough. If the goods are carelessly packed, unprotected against shocks and in a package that can barely withstand transport, no discount or even a great-looking store will not protect us from losing customers.
That is why it is so important to cooperate with a good manufacturer of cardboard packaging. We ensure that our packaging withstands the hardships of reaching the customer – even thousands of kilometers away. In addition, we offer all kinds of prints on the packaging, which allows you to personalize shipments and makes it so that the customer of the online store will surely remember who the product was from and they will certainly recommend the store to others.
Packaging in sea transport
One of the greatest advantages of maritime transport is the ability to transport very heavy and bulky goods. However, for the shipment to endure such a long journey unscathed, it must be secured very well. This is what our carton with a pallet is for.
What is maritime transport?
Sea transport is often referred to in the context of its comparison with air transport. Each method of transporting goods across the sea or the ocean has advantages and disadvantages. You always have to carefully consider which option is the most advantageous financially and in time.
The undeniable advantage of the sea route are the dimensions of shipments that can be packed into a container. If we are faced with the task of transporting a large amount of large weight and size goods, sea transport is the best choice.
Of course you have to remember that this type of journey is always much longer. So, perishable products are not suitable for shipping. The plane will work better here.

Technical foam – application
Polyethylene – many of us may not be aware of the fact that it is a plastic we encounter every day, for example, shopping bags and various types of packaging are made out of it. It is a material which chemical composition consists of hydrogen and carbon. An interesting fact is that it was first synthesized by the German chemist von Pechman in 1898. This accidental discovery revolutionized the way we pack products today (for more information on polyethylene foam, see the polyethylene foam section in our offer).
One of the materials made of polyethylene is technical foam. In the packaging industry, this product is considered an excellent alternative to polystyrene. Why? First of all, the foam structure – more delicate than polystyrene allows for better protection of delicate items. It is resistant to moisture, durable and usually takes up less space.
Packing electronics – technical foam
Technical foam is perfect for packing electronics. In the era of the growing popularity of online shopping (do you know that more than half of Polish internet users already shop online?), Good practices in packaging products may turn out to be crucial for everyone who deals with e-commerce – not only on the consumer electronics and household appliances market.
However, product packaging is not the only use of technical foam. It is a great insulating material – successfully used in the construction industry to insulate floors and walls. It is worth adding that polyethylene foam also has soundproofing properties – musicians who dream about their own recording studio certainly know something about it!
To sum up – technical foam is very versatile in use. It allows for safe transport of delicate items, warms and calms. And at the same time, it is completely safe for humans and, thanks to the recycling option, environmentally friendly.
More information on technical foam can be found on the offer subpage in the technical foam section.
